Senior Client Manager

Full Time (Hybrid) | Sydney

The Senior Client Manager role is the first step to leadership within Kaimera. It is an important role and candidates usually have significant industry experience of 5 years or more and history managing a team typically consisting of 2-3 direct reports.

With the role comes an expectation of complete financial accountability, and ability to manage middle-senior external relationships. We are looking for people with the maturity to manage clients at higher levels than potentially themselves.

Candidates will be able to create/clarify strategy within various ambiguous areas with no guidance. Lead or contribute to cross-division work and play an active role within company culture.

You will also have the opportunity to work on pitches or new business work.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • COMMERCIAL ACUMEN: Thorough understanding of Kaimera's commercial drivers. Considers both short and long-term impacts of business decisions and ensures alignment with Kaimera's goals and objectives. Constantly identifies and leads initiatives that drive business growth. Ability to make informed financial decisions on behalf of multiple clients.

  • CLIENT SERVICE: Actively advocates and organises teams around them to participate in client needs. Is an expert in maintaining the balance between multiple clients and internal capacity. Accountable quality of outputs across entire campaign process.

  • ACCOUNTABILITY: Consistently takes initiative with the aim to identity and resolve problems. Creates an environment of personal accountability within their team. Is able to give constructive feedback to colleagues with trust and respect. Is accountable for multiple clients, potentially their own stream.

  • TRUSTED RELATIONSHIPS: An emerging people leader. Continues to hone their craft in relationship management and development, including navigating challenging team and client dynamics. Can handle external relationships of significance independently.

  • TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE: Acts as a teacher and strategic thinker. Is well versed in platforms and technologies outside of their core pillar. Is able to link capabilities, gaps, and leaning opportunities cross-discipline. Regularly creates forums and avenues to share knowledge across all of Kaimera.

  • LIVING OUR VALUES: Supports individual and team growth by effective coaching and management. Motivates others to proactively identify, promote, and remedy positive and detrimental behaviour in others.
